Kirk Tyson to present at the 19th Annual Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals Conference and Exhibit

“CI is the Future: Intelligence Drives Success” is this year’s theme of the SCIP04 Conference and Exhibit to be held in Boston, Massachusetts, Monday, March 22 through Thursday, March 25, 2004.

Kirk Tyson, The Perpetual Strategist, along with John McGonagle of The Helicon Group, will present a half-day workshop on the topic, “Bottom Line Success: How to Pull the complete Competitive Intelligence (CI) Process Together for Long-Term Survival and Growth.” Tyson and McGonagle will cover topics such as the evolve or die dilemma—why you need to plan the development and institutionalization of the CI process. They will also speak on the most critical moments of a CI unit, the most common reasons CI units fail, and how to avoid those traps. Tyson and McGonagle will also address how Competitive Intelligence could fit in your organization now and in the future, and how to measure the ROI of CI.

Kirk Tyson Catalyst Award Winner

Local professional, Kirk Tyson, has been awarded the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) Catalyst Award for outstanding service at the SCIP Annual International Conference and Exhibit in Anaheim, California.

Kirk is a consultant and author of The Perpetual Strategist and Competition in the 21st Century. He has been providing strategic services consulting to clients for over 25 years and is a pioneer and recognized thought leader in the field of competitive intelligence. Kirk is also a founding member and Fellow of SCIP, and continually provides assistance for new SCIP national activities. He has provided consistent, long-term help with local chapter activities and is a frequent speaker at other SCIP chapter events. He has also made significant contributions to the SCIP.online newsletter and the SCIP mentoring program. SCIP is honored to have such a distinguished professional among the ranks of its Catalyst Award winners.
